Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization that helps veterans and active duty service members. To build name recognition and raise money to provide for the families of injured veterans, we developed an inaugural 5K event… but with a twist. Participants were able to choose from three options– flag, fitness or fierce. Throughout the 5K, flag participants would carry an American flag, fitness would carry weights and fierce would carry a person all the way across the finish line to represent the community’s physical and emotional support for wounded veterans. I was tasked with developing the logo and branding for the event to be used for years to come, creating digital and grass roots advertising assets and all physical event assets and activations.
